Touching throat causes gagging.

My husband has been suffering for months now with gagging. It's caused when he has any pressure against his throat. This will occur just by wearing a T-Shirt. He has vomited on several occasions due to this. He also sucks on sore throat lozenges constantly. He says it helps with the gagging some and I think he has a sore throat with this sometimes.  He has seen a Dr. for this but she just thinks it's reflux or post nasal drip. He has tried all sorts of nasal sprays and reflux meds but they don't help. I'm concerned it may be something more serious, but I can't get him to go to an ENT. Do any of these symtoms sound familar to anyone?

Feels Like someone taking a Fork to the back of My throat Very painful Most of the Time. I Just found out Tonight 30 Minutes after Taking a Benadryl Allergy pill. My Throat Feels Like it Should Normal, Has Been for about 6 hours Now. So I Will Go Back To the Doctors That Cant Figure it Out. And Have Them Test For Allergy Of Some Sort. The Only Thing Im Doing Different in 1 Month Since Began Is Gourmet Coffee and Centrum Vitamins. Could be The Allergy. Try Things like that will try to keep Posted on Condition with problem Goodluck.

I had a similar problem, so I started using Chloraseptic spray a lot.  It numbs the gag reflex and helps soooo much.
