enlarged spleen

well Jan. 1st 2010 i went into the hospital really sick fever of 105 degrees and during the process they found that my spleen was enlarged. they said its no big deal its normal when your as sick as i was. i just needed to tell my family doc and have it evaluated in another six months well i did and no changed. now im having pain in my back and side under my ribs on the left side to were im not sleeping. and pain in the front un der my ribs on the left side. I have also been  very very tired even on the days i do get sleep i just feel worn down. i have also been sick alot this winter. 3 stomach flus, 4 sinus infections, one bronchitis and two colds. So i went to my doc with this and she gave me muscle relaxers and steriods and said i was having muscle spams in my back. ive only been on the meds for two days i would think i would have some kinda releif by now but nothing at least it helped me sleep. But does anyone have an idea on what i should do. im tired of being sick and tired.

my x girlfriend got really sick when she was 6, super high fever that landed her in the hospital for a lil while. like a week later she could barley move, her hands and all her joints hurt. they ran blood tests and diagnosed her with  rm arthritis. basically your cells turn against the body and start attacking all the joints. the only way to stop this, is by supressing the immune system. literally take medicine that kills your immune system and just causes other problems to occur. like frequently getting sick always feeling worn out. i would have the doctor run arthiritis blood tests and a LUPUS test
