fearing the worst

i been going to the er and every time i have blood work they say my white blood cell count is kinda up but i never have fevers or anything i go in a lot for aniexty and feeling weak and nervous they told me my blood count was 17 one time and 15 or 13 other times and all my other tests look good and follow up with a dr im just very scared i fear the worst im just wondering whats going on and why they never keep me

The values are only marginally high. You will be surprised to know that emotional and physical stress both increase your white cell count. So your anxiety could be the reason for the high count. If you do not have anemia, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, diabetes or hypothyroid state, your weakness could be due to poor diet and stress or lack of proper sleep even. You can get a peripheral blood smear done for differential count and types of WBCs to rule out leukemias. However in leukemia the WBC count is generally very high.

pls don't be scared . if they never keep you is because ALL TESTS LOOK GOOD.
