You may have anxiety secondary to this, but this is NOT purely anxiety in my opinion.  Inner ear disorders are NOTORIOUS for triggering anxiety.

Sounds like you have been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease.  This is an inner ear disorder in which sometimes beta-blockers are prescribed.

Have you even seen an ENT Specialist for vestibular testing and assessment?  It definitely sounds inner ear, but I think this physician does not have the correct diagnosis.  It sounds more like Labyrinthitis.

Have you ever been prescribed Betahistine or Antivert for the vertigo?  Usually, one of these medications are prescibed as well.

I believe the abnormal finding with the mastoid is connected to the symtoms you are having.

i dont know much about beta blockers but that could be the problem they are strong meds maybe you should speak to your doctor about not taking them, neck pain is another sign of anxiety,as for how long you will have it,thats the unknow question really,it really is down to the individual,it aint like flu it goes after a week or two,it can take as long as it takes, and then some,i think once you have it its always there it just needs controlling by yourself

you do sound like you are going through anxiety or maybe vertigo, the headaches sounds like migrains which can cause dizziness and feeling sick, but so can vertigo do this, ask your doctors to test you for that, you could also be suffering a bit of depression alog with this since you passed out has it played on your mind or is anything else playing on your mind
