incomplete sentencing

My husband will occassionally stop talking in the middle of a sentence.  He just had a carotid endarterectomy for a 99% blockage and I now wonder if this sympton was a sign of a TIA (I thought he had just gotten into a bad habit of not completing his sentences.

Just to be safe , please get it checked... yes it could be TIA.  TIA symptoms can vary from sudden weakness/stability to memory functions or such as your husband's symptoms.

Definately get him checked out right away.It could be from his surgery and normal or something more serious. My Mother did that and we didn't realize it was important at the time..not to scare you but she had a stroke a few months later. Only after the incident did we find out this and other things ( sometimes she'd mix words up) were signs we should have acted on.
Good luck.
