Hi
Thanks for keeping me posted!
You should probably get a repeat MRI of the upper cervical level. A bulging disc, sudden jerky movement of the neck etc can all cause similar pains.
Please discuss this with your doctor. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

You are the second dr to link this the immuologist said the same. I am not convinced for two reasons.
1) it was a sudden onset whilst at work with severe pain down my left arm
2) I have been fortunate that i was able to catch my haemochromatosis early, my highest ferritin was 150 now at 28. would it have such an effect at this level. My father has it and he has had liver cancer and all other symptoms associated with it but his ferritin was 1500 understandable.
I would value your opinion,

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Your symptoms could be due to hemochromatosis and its complications. You could be having peripheral neuropathy due to induced diabetes. Direct iron deposition in the spine and joints too can cause similar symptoms. There is a possibility of liver involvement and hence deficiency of Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D. You can go over similar possibilities with your treating doctor.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. Take care!
