lump

a few days ago my co-workers noticed a bump behind my both ears. one told me that it could be lymph nodes so i looked it up but it didn't say anything about lymph nodes being behind your ears. i just looked in the mirror and i saw it myself. it looks like swellings behind my ears. as long as i know myself i always had that but it never bother me but if not What could that possibly be?

I'm a bit unfamiliar with certain terms. Whats PCP?

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
If you have always had it and it is behind both ears I would say it is normal anatomical variation of the skull, causing a mild protrusion to appear behind both ears. Hower it could also be a lump or a swollen lymph gland. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. Please consult your PCP once.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
