multiple symptoms,no diagnosis..please help

Hi everyone

I am a 26y/o female and have been suffering from nausea and vomiting every morning for over a month now. As soon as I wake up, my stomach starts turning and feeling like an ocean, and i get a hot wave come over me... next thing i know im in the bathroom either throwing up or making myself throw up because i cant stand the nausea any longer. That usually lasts 30mins-1hr, then i just feel extremely tired and weak after and generally unwell until about lunchtime. This has been going on every single day except on days that i am able to sleep in until 10am, then i wake up feeling ok. My doctor has prescribed mylan-pantoprazole(40mg) to take once a day first thing in the morning. This is for acid-reflux but i am worried that my other symptoms make this a bigger issue.
I have anxiety issues nowadays as well, I am constantly worried about my kids, my family, my life...everything. including worrying about people dying including myself at this point with this sickness i am terrified that something is seriously wrong and i will end up dying from this. My doctor says she just wants to focus on one thing at a time, but really i want more opinions and maybe hear/read other people's stories. It is so hard with digestive/gastro issues because there are so many different things it can be and we are only just starting to narrow the list down.

-nausea/vomiting/anxiety/bowel changes(from "normal" stools - "mushy", soft stools(sometimes blood tinged mucus/yellow mucus+acid) +constipation and diarreah at times

any ideas on what this could actually be? thanks so much

thank you so much for your replies. I forgot to mention in my original post that a pregnancy test was the first thing my doctor did, which was a urine test that came back negative & the very next day my menstrual cycle kicked in and i've also had another period since then(it came 5 days early which is not my normal cycle, but dr says its more than likely caused by the stress and anxiety. i have 2 sons(8&almost 2) and had morning sickness with both of them but the bile came out looking like egg yolk everytime and there was no acid.

well i am trying hard to take the advice of my dr right now and trying to eat the 6 small meals a day and give myself 3-4hrs to digest my dinner before going to bed etc, and this morning was the first morning to start the mylan-pantoprazole, so i took one pill as soon as i woke up... i still felt nauseus and sick, still did throw up a bit of acid/water though BUT overall i am feeling ok. still a little lightheaded, but not nauseus or sick anymore and its only 9am!! :)

Salmonella i am definitely going to look into that, i had not thought about that at all. And thanks for caring, it is definitely scary! I am a 26yr old mom to 2 kids who need me, and feeling so sick every morning just takes away from what i need to be doing and that's taking care of my kids. not only that, but not knowing what this is caused from is what scares me most because i dont know if it will be "fixable".
I have not been out of the country(canada) ever, and i have not had any transmitted diseases or any serious illnesses.. just random colds and flus all my life until all these symptoms came about.

my first thought was pregnancy also, but what about salmonella? It causes those same symptoms and blood in stool also. Wow, i feel for you, scary.

I agree.  A preg. test is in need.  Also, have you been out of the Country within the last year or so?  Next, have you been exposed to any transmit diseases?

Hello.  Have you had a pregnancy test?  If not I would verify I was not pregnant first.  It could also be related to your anxiety/reflux.  When you are anxious everything speeds up including the production of gastric juices and peristalsis-the waves of your intestines that push food from one end to the other and stimulate bowel movements, which could contribute to the diarrhea/constipation symptoms.  The blood could be from the diarrhea/constipation irritating the colon but  a colonoscopy  Should be performed to rule out any other problems with your intestines.

What I would recommend is 1st have a pregnancy test done, and ask your docotr about a colonoscopy-tell her about the blood in your stool if you haven't already, if you have already told her, tell her again.  Continue taking your reflux medicine. Eat 6 small meals verses 3 larger ones during the day if possible.   Avoid eating/drinking 2 hours before laying down, Avoid alcohol or smoking.  Avoid sleeping flat use at least 2 pillows at night.  Use methods such as imaginary, relaxation techniques to help decrease your anxiety.  Continue to make your doctor aware of your anxiety, and maybe a need for medication will be found in the near future to assist with the relaxation.

I Hope This Helps. Good Luck, and Have A Wonderful Night!
