Wasp Sting Bumps

Several years ago I was stung multiple times around the same spot on my neck by a wasp I grabbed by accident.  Ever since that day I have had two knots under the skin in that area that I can feel but are not visible.  They are very hard and I cannot smash them down flat or anything.  What is this exactly and should I maybe go to a doctor about it?

I was actually thinking the sting or whatever could still be stuck in there as a possibility but wasn't sure.  I will get it check out at any rate, thanks.

you could still have the sting inside you,or it could just have an ingrowing hair there,go to the doctors to rule both out, usually with an ingrowing hair it flares up and can become very annoying
