split, cut, tear in urethra

I have a noticed a small tear or split on my penis opening. The cut is vertical and has continued down the line of the opening. When i urinate the stream is more spread out. It didn't bleed or anything it is not that noticeable when not erect. It has not become infected. Should i see a doctor? will it tear even more? what treatment is there? will it heal? should i see a doctor, if so will a GP be alright or will i need a urologist?

I have the same issue, it looks and feels like the opening has opened a little bit downwards. I am very worried it's going to tear more. Do I just let it heal or do I need to help it along? I will try to not touch it for a week. I do not fear an infection, that is not an issue in the state it is in, I fear the hole opening much more.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This cut on the penis opening can be due to friction rub,dry skin or trauma. Apply warm compresses,Neosporin ointment and calamine lotion and avoid messing with it.You  can take anti-inflammatory pain killers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If the symptoms persist then it will be best to get it evaluated from a urologist.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
