Hi,
Just a few questions:
Is the lump painful?
Is there any redness in the involved area?
Any discharge coming from the penis?
Any problems with erection or urination?
Continue to observe the lump.During testicular palpation some of the normal structures within the scrotal sac may be noted as bumps and lumps .In the presence of pain, redness, swelling and urinary symptoms immediate consult with a physician is necessary.
To allay your worries ,discuss this with your parents or guardian so that they may help you set an appointment with your primary physician for initial assessment.
He I dont know if you have had your question answered. I am a normal 20 year old myself, and I discovered mine when I was about your age. I went to a doctor and he sent me to get an ultrasound on my testicles. What they concluded was that the I had a collection of fluid on right on the spot where my testicle met the Spermatic cord. The cord was holding up fluid for some reason. It is not at all cancerous or anything serious. They told me to just keep an eye on it as see if it gets biger than normal. Mine is still there and they lastly said that if they try to remove it, then it will probably just fill again, and or could prevent me from having kids. So, it should be fine, I have a friend who has it too, so dont worry. Have it checked out to be safe though. Hope that helps.
