Blood from urinating

First off I am healthy as a horse (as far as I know) This just happened. I was urinating and I had to sneeze. I didn't want to make a mess from the effect of the sneezing convulsing me. So I pinched off mid stream twice for both sneezes. The second time I felt a very stinging sensation and then blood came out.

Should I be worried will this heal on it's own?

I think I am good now. I went again later that morning and was fine. And now the next day it's like nothing happened. I was just a bit scared when I saw the blood. But it makes perfect sense based on what I did to make it bleed.

Thanks again!

Hi,

I think it was a small vessel which may have led to this. This may also happen due to a small stone lodged in the ureter. Either case, this warrants an examination and investigation to reveal the cause.

Hope this helped. Let us know if you need any more help/information
