Please Help

since 9 months i had abdominal pain in testicle with burning in the scrotum after condom broke while i was having sex, i did tests i that found here and it was Chlamydia IgG, IgM  and Gonorrhea culture for urine the two were negative " those tests were 4-5 months after the infection cause no doctor asked me to run them before" before that  a urine analysis showed a high amount of pus cells 8-10 in dozen of tests but regular culture was always free of bacterial ..

I took before that an injection and it was Cefixime or Ceftriaxone for gonorrhea by my self in the 3 week and a doctor  gave me 20 days of Ciprobay 500 twice a day with Metrondaizole 3 times daily for a week  ,, symptoms got much better but didn't go and they return back,,

after couple of months i took 2gm of azithromycin and it got better but symptoms returned again and just 3 days ago i had urine analysis, culture and the same for semen the result was staphylococcus areus in the semen that is high sensitive to doxycyline  and i started taking it for 15 days 2 days ago .. now my problem is if my symptoms continued and i had a plan for traveling to dubai to run all std’s that could make those symptoms by PCR but i NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I WAIT AFTER CUTTING THE ANTIBIOTIC TO RUN THEM WITHOUT AFFECTING MY TESTS ??!!

Hi there!

Since you have already taken the antibiotics these would have already affected the urine tests and cultures, though there may still be valuable. However blood tests would remain unaffected and may provide an indication to the type of infection. I would suggest seeing an infectious disease specialist for a detailed evaluation and suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
