Loss of Sensation in Penis and Anus

Hello

For the past 10 Days I have been having a loss of sensation localized to my Genitals, Anus, Area between Testicles and Anus (mostly on the left side) and Along the Left Thigh and Leg  starting from the buttock down the hamstring and stops an inch or so from the Achilies (spelling?)

It Started  Monday March 30th.  I went to use the restroom at work, (er #2) when i got up to take care of my business, I noticed I had no sensation to the toilet paper.   I thought maybe I was numb from the combination of sitting on the seat and the fact that I was resting my elbows on my thighs and therefore limiting blood flow to the area some how.
Usually that type of numbness fades and you get the pins and needles etc.  However that did not happen.  It was when I was in my own bathroom the next morning preparing for work that the same thing happened and I did not sit for too long.

Then by Wednesday I noticed a similar loss of feeling going down my thigh and into my testes, the skin felt taught and even more so if my home got colder (weather has been up and down in nyc over this time  period) It was by that night, when Masturbating I noticed I didn't feel sensations at the very tip of my penis.  Also I didn't feel the expulsion of semen when masturbating, like I feel the sensation up to the head almost but I don't feel it leaving there, it also leaves me feeling frustrated like I didn't finish, and the weirdest part is of what I DO feel it is even more intense than usual.

The feeling spread over the last weekend and Tuesday night (April 6th) my heart started beating heavy, and I felt a slight tinge on the left side of my head like some one with hot nails was scratching that part of my head, i got worried and the heart started beating even faster.  When heavy heart beating followed by the 'being scratched' feeling started I wasn't agitated or anything really, just slightly annoyed with my computer ( i do sit in front of one at work for near 8+ hrs straight (getting up only to help others on THEIR computers, or to go to a meeting and sit in front of another one).

The loss of feeling seems to be only at the epidermis level, like I'm wearing an extra layer of skin or skin-like Long Johns all the time or something.  I also noticed about 3 weeks ago my urine and when i number 2 it smells like, coffee
I do have 2-3 cups every day, one in the morning with my Crossaint (in my 8 oz mug) and 1-2 (basically a large from mcdonalds) with my lunch.

Somethings to note:

The Thursday before that Monday I drank 8 glasses ( the in between glasses, not a tall long island ice tea glass or a small glass for whiskey, but a in between size glass) of Rum and Coke with some new Rum called Rum-Ba, I know nothing about it except that it was FREE (open bar)  I spent the Friday after throwing UP (when i drank water or tea) almost dry heaving (if I had no water) at most points, it was so much so I was sent home from work. I thought i was because I had nothing to eat both those days.

Last year July I had a similar numbness in just the finger tips of both left and right hand.

IN my health history I have had my adenoids removed twice at 6 and 10, tonsils once, tubes in the ears because of water in the ears at 10 ys old (adenoids were removed in that same procedure), 2 benign cyst removed from my testicles (one floating in the sack, the other attached to the right teste) when I was 16 - 17 (it was the summer between birthdays).  My Grandfather had Pancreatic Cancer and high blood pressure seems to run in the family. I think my grandmother on my fathers side had a brain tumor, My Grandmother on my mothers side passed away due to diabities. My brother had an aneurysm during a sinus draining procedure.  And my last MRI's and CAT Scans to verify I didn't have one was 6 years ago at, my last doctor visit 3 years ago, and strangely enough I was told I had close to low blood pressure (odd for a family with history of high blood pressure)

Also I exercise almost everyday at least 15 minutes everyday except Sunday my rest day when I just stretch and do a little yoga. And I on occasion enjoy a smoke, no chain smoking though.  I do try to get my vitamins, I do have a One A Day multi-vitamin at  least 3 times a week and I eat a good amount of vegetables and grains and very little meat, mostly Turkey or Chicken Sandwiches or Wraps for lunch with my Coffee.  Sometimes I opt for a bowl of Cheerios and honey bunches of almonds with whole milk for dinner instead of chicken or rice.

I have a appointment with a General Practioner (also an internalist  Specialist) but that appointment is 6 days away.  Should I go to an emergency room instead, do I have something life threatning,  is this numbness/loss of sensation  permanent? Whats causing this.

Hey,

Are you still dealing with this? I too have a very similar issue with loss of complete sensation on my penis and anus area which I've had for 2 years. I believe mine was caused by a car accident though, since the x-rays revealed scoliosis which I never had until after the accident. I'm on my way to getting better though, I know I'm on to figuring it out. My chiropractic treatments are going well and slowly straightening my back. I'm practicing yoga daily now and the last habit I'm establishing is a very healthy diet.

I can't say for sure what exactly is causing it in your case, but I know that by learning more about nutrition - if you haven't already - and by eating a truly healthy diet, your intestines won't be as inflamed from trying to digest food that we're not meant to eat (Mcdonalds and breads and grains and such) and by eating lots of vegetables and plant based foods daily you'd clean out your system and give your body the nutrients it needs daily to cleanse everything and have every part of your body work 100%!

It's hard to be healthy at first, you hang on to the routine and traditions you already have and can't imagine how to live without a bite of that juicy Wendy's cheeseburger or fries or pizza etc. But you let those things be occasional so that they are that much more rewarding and special and tasty, and you most of the time eat super healthy which you get addicted to and used to and before you know it you absolutely love healthy food! I'm sorry if I'm ranting I smoked a blunt and am just talking and talking but I think getting to a level of serious health and fitness working out every day like you do and making sure you never got into a car accident that messed you up? Maybe get xrays.. but I think it can help you! I'm still dealing with this.. but with the combination of chiropractic, acupuncture, and a good diet and naturopathic doctor and health supplements, I've had sensation return a few times and I think I'm breaking down the walls to solving whats going on in my body and it will return any time now! I hope you believe me!
