About a month ago, I noticed a few drops of pinkish blood at the very end of my urine stream. Pretty sure it was blood. I went to the ER the next morning (a Saturday). The urinalysis found no blood and no signs of infection. Kidney ultrasound was normal. Also, for a few months before this, I was urinating very frequently -- not high volumes and not with great urgency, but I always felt like I had to pee (particularly while walking around or running, weirdly enough).
Anyway, they referred me to a urologist, who did his own urinalysis (again, no blood, no infection) and who speculated that it was prostate-related (I'm a 30 yo male). He gave me antibiotics for two weeks. When I went back (yesterday), the prostate was normal size -- so it's not prostate-related.....but I'm still peeing all the time, its still a weak stream, there's still dribbling at the end of it, and I'm still peeing small amounts. Its not that I don't feel I empty my bladder why I pee...it's just that it comes back very fast. Like I said -- I really feel like I have to go when I'm running or walking (and when I do go, not that much comes out). When I stop or sit down, it isn't as bad.
I'm scheduled for a CT-scan of the bladder and abdomen tomorrow. I asked him if he suspected bladder cancer and he dismissed it -- probably because of my age. But what else could it be? It's not prostate-related. It's not a UTI or infection. It's not Interstitial cystitis (I have no pain). And it doesn't sound at all like Overactive Bladder, since intontinence and urgency aren't issues. I just urinate frequently, relatively small amounts, with a weak stream and dribbling. It seems obvious to me that there's a growth/obstruction in my bladder causing all of this -- which would explain why running/walking makes me feel I have to pee.
Just wndering if anyone has any thoughts...
