Epididymitis or cancer?

Hello i am 24 years old and have recently started getting severe pains in my left testicle. Within about 4 days i went to my doctor and told him my concerns, i had already examined my testicle but he did too and said there was nothing wrong. A few days passed and the pains got worse, so i saw a second doctor who basically said the same thing.

Anyway, yesterday i had reached a point where i hadnt slept in days was in terrible pain so i decided to just go straight to accident and emergency. I saw a doc and he couldnt feel anything wrong, he said it might have been due to torsion and that the testicle had swung back and forth but would send me for an ultrasound to make sure.

When i got the results of the ultrasound they showed nothing abnormal, the doc said that he it was probably an infection at this point and did a water test. That came back negative, but he told me to take anti inflammatories and some ofloxacin.

I know that this all sounds good but, the bottom of my left testicle is really quite solid (the actual testicle not the epididymis), and if a test dosent show infection i am quite confused as to what it could be.I am more scared than i have ever been in my life. I guess my questions are how certain can an ultrasound be?, and if i need to seek further advice who should i push to see?.
