Foamy Urine - did some tests

Hello, I'm 27 years old and last year (Aug 2022)I started to develop foamy urine. When to the doctor and ask me to do a urine test. The results were Urea = 5.60 mmol/l. Creatinine = 106.00 umol/l. Sodium = 141 mmol/l. Potassium = 4.50 mmol/l and chloride = 101.80 mmol/l.

My doctor give me antibiotics and told me to drink more water. I started to drink more water but when I reduced a bit my water consumption, my urine will be foamy again. Till now I'm still developing foamy urine. What can be the causes? Im afraid..

Dehydration can cause foamy urine.

Drinking enough water is something you will need to do from now until forever. We all need water. When you are reducing your water, are you increasing your caffeine or alcohol? Those are very dehydrating.

Hello Auntiejessi, yes i drink coffee everyday at work and little water. When I wake up in the morning, my urine was usually extremely foamy. I've started drinking 3 L of water a day and the foam diminished (can still be seen tho). And sunday I woke up with very tired eyes... And till now i still feel the tiredness of eyes..
Are you drinking coffee all day?

If you are, you'll want to cut that back slowly because caffeine withdrawal headaches are hell.

Give it some time. If you've been chronically dehydrated, it can take some time to get back to normal.
Unfortunately yes, all day. Thanks a lot for you help auntiejessi. One last question, any comments fromthe results?
From what I can tell, they don't seem alarming. I'm not a doctor, but some seem in range from what I can tell in a Google search. Did they give you ranges?

The ones that were out of range aren't alarmingly so, and could indicate dehydration.
There are the normal ranges of the laboratory.

Urea(normal range) = 2.20-7.20
Creatinine (nr) = 62.00-106.00
Sodium(nr)= 136.00-145.00
Potassium (rn) = 3.50-5.10
Chloride (nr) = 98.00-107.00
Hello, if my urine creatinine level is high, does that mean I have chronic kidney disease?
For reference, I'm copying it all here -

The results were

Urea = 5.60 mmol/l. - (normal range) = 2.20-7.20

Creatinine = 106.00 umol/l.  - (nr) = 62.00-106.00

Sodium = 141 mmol/l. - (nr)= 136.00-145.00

Potassium = 4.50 mmol/l - (nr) = 3.50-5.10

chloride = 101.80 mmol/l. - (nr) = 98.00-107.00

The only test that isn't in the normal range is creatinine, and it's just a bit high on the normal range.

Dehydration can cause this.

No one test alone can determine kidney disease, and a slightly high but still normal test doesn't indicate disease. Really, you should talk to your doctor if you are concerned.
Thanks a lot Auntiejessi. I'll consult my doctor tomorrow and I'll be back with feedbacks
I've got results from the Albumin Creatinine Ratio Test

Albumin = 8.9 mg/dl
Creatinine = 20.10 mmol/l
Albumin Creatinine Ratio = 3.95 mg/g
Calculated conversion factor = 8.84

I have an appointment soon for interpretation. What do you think?
Should I do more tests?
What are the ranges?
Albumin Creatinine Ratio normal range < 30 mg/g
Was this creatinine test a blood test? Did it have a range? I can't help you without the ranges and knowing if this is a blood or urine test.

Your ratio is normal.

I'm not sure why you are so panicked.

Is there a test called GFR? What is that result and what are the ranges?
It was a Urine Albumin Creatinine Ratio Test (UACR Test) The lab didn't gave the range for Albumin and creatinine. The range was only for the ratio that is <30 mg/g.

I'm panicking because my urine is still foamy and on various they said it's associated with kidney issues.

Should I do a GFR Test?
