Pain at the base of my penis, i can fell something lumpy under the skin.

two weeks ago i started experiencing pain at the base of my penis, on the upper facing side, just where the penis connects to the body, not quite in the middle but a bit to the right.

it feels like something stretched too much inside there, like when you feel a painful ligament when you work out too much at the gym. at first i thought it might have something to do with a bit of a wild sex i had, combined with some long working hours in an awkward position on the chair, so i gave it 2 weeks but its still there.

the pain is somehow sharp and hurts the most when i pull my penis.
if i just rotate the penis, it hurts, but not that much.
otherwise i dont feel it, perhaps just a small hint from time to time that something is not ok in that general area.
the pain is always localized there.

i palpated the region and i can feel there's something "stringy" just under the skin, about 1inch in length, from the base of my penis, running along with the penis. if the penis is erect it gets a bit visible, like there's a bigger "vein" in there.

there's no lesion, no coloration, skin looks the same, it doesnt affect my erection and the pain is manageable during intercourse.

i used condoms, i dont have many partners, i have no reason to believe its an STD.

I have pretty much the same description as you, however mine isnt on the base of the penis, it is next to it.

What did your diagnosis end up being? And was yours actually on the base, or at the side of the base?
