Is Testicular Atrophy Reversible?

My husband was diagnosed with low Testosterone levels in 2000.  He started on patches and later injections of supplemental testosterone.  Our doctor never did any other hormone testing and his levels were not checked on a regular basis.  We conceived a child in 2003 and she was born in 2004.  Recently we had fertility tests done as we have not been able to have another child.  It was found that he had azoospermia.  He also has a great degree of testicular atrophy.  We are obviously devastated.  My concern is whether or not this can be reversed and if we will ever again be able to have a child.  Should he stop the testosterone?  The whole situation is extremely confusing and frustrating.  I would be grateful of any help/advice you could give.  Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

Many in the body building community use HCG ( human chorionic gonadotropin ) while using steroids and Toremafine Citrate afterwards to help restore function. While Toremafine Citrate is not without some pretty severe side effects if one is trying to concieve the use of HCG should definatetly be done, and in my humble opinoion Toremafine Citrate or another selective estrogen receptor modulator might be worth considering after stopping the testosterone and giving it time to clear the body ( usually about a month with the esters used in TRT) the inclusion of Toremafine may make the difference you need to get the testicals functioning.

By the way you can do a search on PubMed to see studies of the use of Toremafine Citrate as well as other SERM's in clinical trials, I certainly don't expect you to take the word of an internet body builder on something so serious.
