Oh wait, now I understand what you meant by, "too fast". You too think the ions could help clear things out, huh.
From what I understand, de-ionized water is neutrally charged (equal balance of protons and electrons). I probably don't really understand things quite right, yet, especially when it comes to relating this to pH, but don't you think that de-ionized water could pass faster than ionized water, (interacting less with its surroundings)? I was told by my doctor to drink de-ionized water for my stones. Now, as doctors often find their advice is backwards, I can't help but wonder if ionized water could help clear out what's in the kidneys better, although, I suppose it could really backfire.
I'd really love to get some more input from someone.
