Lots of problems

Hi, I am and 18 year old male and I have really bad insomnia. I was born with first degree hypospadias,I was on SSRI antidepressants for a few years. I went to a urologist about not being able to ejaculate a few years back, he asked a few questions, looked, and poked. Basically said it was psychological.  I have only orgasmed once while having intercourse, and it was normal for a few seconds then I noticed that it was yellow, and this might be a little graphic but she said it tasted acidic.... like urine, this was when I was 17 within about a month of having that orgasm, I had severe back pain, pain weile urinating. I had TWO std screens within a week, no blood in urine, they even checked around my penis with a swab too. There was no infection nor blood, but yet my urine was very cloudy and or almost brown urine, I even urinated in a bottle and took it to them because it was so unbelievable to me. So I went to another urologist this time they said I had a stricture, and I got dilated... he said he did not cut me but now I have a few hairs coming out of the tip of my penis, and a NEW scar. just cosmetical But I'm having severe back pain again im spraying everywhere when I urinate, (not sure how to say this) when i put it in my pants I seem to leak about a teaspon full of urine .... worse than before my procedure! Should I go back to him again to have it corrected or go to the doctor who fixed my hypospadias the first time? I have two weeks until I can see either one of them are there any home remedies or anything that could possibly help until then? Can you recommend them to check for anything? Also, he mentioned a flimsy urethra is this fixable or am I gonna have it for the rest of my life? If so what precautions should I start taking?

I am currently taking Chloral Hydrate 500mg, Ativan 2 mg, Lunesta 3mg. I know these do/can mess with CNS but could they do anything to my kidneys or bladder etc?

Sorry so many questions, I was quite embarrassed.

Hi,

If an individual develops an adverse reaction to a drug, the recommended course of action is to substitute that drug with another that would not cause the adverse reactions.

Lunesta is approved for short-term use and is not recommended for use longer than 12 months in view of its carcinogenic and addictive potential.

Discuss with your prescribing doctor any alternative medications that you can start taking while weaning off the lunesta.

Lunesta also suppresses immune reaction and predisposes users to infections.

Thanks for the answers!
The doctors tested for infection and there was no infection or blood.

also I asked my doctors (all three) and they all said the medicine wouldn't do that. I read that it caused urinary problems of some sort, and chronic backpain. but none of the doctors seem to think it would cause that.

Do you know anymore information about this lunesta and urinary interaction?

Hi,

Thank you for the detailed history.

It is quite possible that there is a deficient area along the urethra that may have caused a mixing of the semen with the urine, making it appear yellow.

However, not ejaculating for a long time can also cause the semen to clump or darken in color.

It is possible that you contratced an infection, hence the pain during urination and the back pain. This could be a consequence of some reflux of the semen back into the prostate or epididymis that would have affected these structures resulting in irritaion and inflammation which may or may not have been part of the infection.

Spraying is a sign of urethral stricture or prostatic hypertrophy, which can occur in response to the prostate inflammation.

Lunesta has been known to cause cloudy or bloody urine and this is part of its listed adverse/ side- effect profile.

Chloral hydrate and lorazepam ar only recommended for short-term treatment in view of their addiction potential and side effects.

No home remedies for this, except to drink fluids in excess of 2000 ml per day and add citrus and cranberry juices to your diet.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
