Lower Stomach Pain after Erection

I have been getting pain in the lower left side of my abdomen after an erection/ejaculation.  Sometimes the pain can be felt in my left testicle.  This pain has been happening for about six months now and is starting to last up to three days later.  Because of the pain I have trouble knowing when I have bowel movements.  Sometimes it feels like I have to go and nothing happens.  I have been married and faithful for almost 10 years.  I have also seen a urologist and had an ultrasound for a hernia with no signs of tears or inflammation.  He has referred me to general surgeon to talk about a hernia but I think he was just dismissing my issues.  Any ideas?

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include GU infections, inflammations, growths, masses, referred pain from other regions, issues related to the GI etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this helps.

Take care!

I can relate to everything you said.  I too was basically sent on my way, I'm guessing because he had no clue.  Like you, infection is very highly unlikely. I'm left without answers and direction.  Yes, cysto, ultrasound, CT, IVP were all done.  Any answers yet??
