yep they make you feel like you actually "want" medication!  I will tell you, at my urologists office, they make me feel like it's my fault i have had 7 stents within the past 5 months! absolutely ridiculous!  I say after i get this stent taken out today, im done with doctors!  guess i'll just die of kidney failure or something,

I had pain for a week after stent removel. No other symptoms ... mostly just the pain and fatique. It continued intermittently for another two weeks.  I am now pain free and back to a more normal energy level. Speculations was that there might have been some swelling of the ureter after removal.  Recommendation, super hydration!!!

Hi,
How are you? Usually there are no complications after stent removal, I think it is just discomfort that you are experiencing. Do you have any other symptoms like burning sensation, discharge, bleeding, increased frequency or urgency? If no then there is nothing to worry.
Also I would suggest, if this discomfort continues to persist even after a week then a ultrasound abdomen would be better, to evaluate the condition. Renal stones recurrence is quiet common, so consult a urologist if the pain is persistent.
Best.
