Pain in Pevic area and right testicle

About a month and a half ago I had unprotected sex with a girl and that is what started this problem.  Here is how the symptoms have gone:
the following 2 days: Slight pain in urethra, not while urinating but on and off.
day 3 and 4: pain in testicle, never above a 3 (0= no pain, 10=unbearable pain).
day 5: the girl i slept with got tested and results were negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea.  I had not slept with anyone unprotected in over a year and protected in 5 months.  I talked to a doctor at an STD clinic and she said that it could be a UTI but I never got tested.

Here is where i really need help.  On day 6 i moved abroad for 5 months and from people i have talked to over here the doctors arent great so i wanted to get some advice before i went in.

Since Day 6 I have experienced a few different things.  The pain(an almost warm feeling pain) has moved to my pelvic area.  Specifically just above and to the right of my genitals.  That, as well some some testicular discomfort come and go and only last from a few hours to one day before leaving me feeling healthy.  Occasionally it will feel like there may be something leaking out of my anus  and some itching as well in that area.  I do urinate often but it has been this way my entire life, I naturally must have a smaller bladder.

The symptoms are only bad enough to make me worry and not enough see a doctor in italy.  What worries my the most is that they keep coming back.  I have not noticed anything else but I am sure i am not looking for everything.  Please help.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Symptoms like foul smelling urine, discharge and swelling of testicles suggest infection, but even if they are not present that does not rule out infection. You need to get checked by a urologist for epididymitis, varicocele, urethritis and orchitis, all of which is done by physical examination and certain investigations as mentioned in the earlier post.

Thanks for the reply.  There is no swelling, discharge or foul smelling urine.  And these are all thing that i have been looking for after reading online at the beginning.  As for pain after ejaculation i have also not noticed anything.  There is sometimes a tingling on the scrotum that comes and goes but isnt that often.  I am setting up an appointment with a Urologist this week.  Is there anything else that you can recommend that they look into.  I would like to be as prepared as i can when i go in.

Thanks so much

Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Pain and discomfort in the testicle as well as discomfort in the pubic region is suggestive of infection. Infection could either be routine UTI or STD. Also, itching near the anus suggests of yeast infection. All this needs to be confirmed first. And that needs proper evaluation and physical examination by a urologist.
Is there any swelling, urethral discharge, foul smelling urine? Has the pain been more evident after ejaculation?
I would suggest that you get a urine analysis with culture and a STD panel done along with a scrotal ultrasound and visit a urologist for further assistance.
