Penile Throbing

Dr.

For the past few days, the top part of my penis has been experience a constant,  nerve ending throbing on  regular 3 second intervals which hasn't stopped. I'm thinking maybe some to do with the nerve branches since I have an L3-L4 herination. Any ideas??????? I really need to get some sleep......

I'm 43, there is no tingle or pain, It's not periferal nerves because I tried applying ice as well as heat to the area. An no result. There is no other throbing anywhere else in my body.
My only other longstanding diseae is LVH. No history of trauma, no STD's, My prostate was checked at my last physical an was fine. I've been trying to do some streching do that hasn't work.

Hi,
How are you? Penile tingling or throbbing or pain like pins and needles refers to a sensory nerve damage. But this would not be the only symptom you might be experiencing?
Does throbbing occur anywhere in the body? If yes get a detailed evaluation for multiple sclerosis and diabetic neuropathy. What is your age? Have you been suffering from any longstanding diseases?
Is there any history of trauma? Also in STD, Hepatitis, prostatitis also these symptoms might occur.
Visit your urologist for detailed examination and further treatment.
