Penis Problem?

I accidentally pulled the skin on the Dorsal side of my semi-erect penis back too far while showering, and immediately felt a sharp pain around what I later learned to be the "vulnerable area" of the penis, where the nerves and dorsal vein runs.  After that, I noticed a lump exactly where I felt the pain, and the dorsal vein is displaced to the right, ending to the right of the lump.  It seems almost like the vein and the lump are attached.  Also, the veins running out of this area were are more prominent than they were before.  This happened 5 months ago, and I don't really feel much pain anymore, but sometimes that lump-area hurts after I ejaculate.  Also, there is a tendon-like line which runs from the Base to the Glans, to the right of the Dorsal vein and lump, which seems to have its complement on the other side (these could be nerves).  All of this amounts to quite a serious change to the physiology and appearance of my penis, and I'm frightened of hurting it more, but maybe I'm just being paranoid.  I have no problems maintaining an erection, but since the vein is so prominent and displaced I worry.

Do you think this Dorsal vein/lump problem is serious?

Could it get worse?

Thank you very much for your help, I hope my question isn't too long-winded.

I seem to have the same problem. It's not very ennerving. However it does bother me, particularly when my penis is perpendicular to my belly.

Thanks, tlh777.  That is reassuring.  It doesn't really bother me that much anymore, and I've begun taking anti-inflammatory drugs life Motrin and Aspirin, and am hoping that they will help.  I don't think it will lead to a curve or shorter erections, but I think I'll see a Urologist all the same.  I went to one about 4 months ago, and told him that I thought I had Peyronie's because I had a very hard, vein-like structure at the left side of the Base of my penis, which seemed to be causing some curvature, but he took one look at me (I'm 22 yrs old), laughed and said "You're too young!"  I have since stopped worrying about that, because I've found similar things all over the base of my penis and they don't boher me or effect erection quality.  This Dorsal vein/lump thibgs, though, seems unusual, and I didn't bring it up with him.  I think I will.
Thanks again!

it sounds like scar tissue.it can probably be removed through surgery.but if it doesn't bother you it would be fine to leave alone.the only thing it could cause in the future if it gets worse is a curve to your penis and possibly shorter erections.
