Prostate Pain

by js11, Jan 24, 2007 12:00AM
About a year ago I was diagnosed with a prostate infection.  My primay complaint was, and still is, chronic pain in the prostate area.  I was given antibiotics (Biaxin).  The pain began to subside several days after, but returned after about three weeks (while still taking the drugs).  I switched to a different antibiotic (Cipro), and the same thing happened: the pain began to subside, only to return 3-4 weeks into the treatment.  With my third antibiotic (Levaquin) the same thing happened again, only more quickly: 3 days after beginning the pain was much better; a couple days later it was back.  So, after almost three months of antibiotic treatment I was back where I started.

I began to pursue alternative treatments, including supplements, acupuncture, and homeopathy.  This seemed to helped, as at one point my symptoms were gone for about three weeks.  But then they returned again.

Today, after 3 months of antibiotics, and several other treatments, I still have chronic pain in my prostate.

My question:  Has anyone else had a similar experience of showing improvement only to have the symptoms return? If so, have you found something that proved to be helpful?  I read that treating a prostate infection can require an extended period of antibiotics.  But three times my symptoms returned while still taking the drugs, so it is hard to beleive that taking them again would be helpful.  Has anything else worked for others?

Thanks for responding.

I think your immune system is not strong.
May be you can consider to take cellular zeolite.

To: Cellular zeolite?
Thanks for your response.  What is cellular zeolite?  Had you had experience with it? Has it been helpful?

Try to resd those web.

I have an uncle has postate cancer. The doctor said he only has 6 months to live.
Therefore I try to help. I bought it for my uncle, he said he felt he has more energy.

I like Cellular Zeolite, because it is safe and no side effect. Besides, everyone can take it.

I told my uncle to take 3 times per day, each time is 15 drops.

He just started for 2 weeks. I hope it can help him.
He will do the blood test next month. I pray his PSA level will go down. I will report the result.

If you want to try it, then let me know what's you feeling later.

Good luck

I suggest trying a sitz bath. A sitz bath is where you only put the buddocks in the water ie. do not put your legs in or your arms or your back. I have just tried it for the first time tonight and it definitely gave me some relief. Good luck
