Red Urethra

For some time now, my urethra has been very red. There is no pain or awkward urinating. Just a very unsightly red line running along my urethra. It also looks like the very tip has slightly swollen.

I'm a 15 year old virgin and very worried.

What ingredients are in sudocream?  You need to be really careful with what you put on your genitals, especially near the urethra.  A lot of things could irritate it further.  I would think the safest bet would be neosporin because of it's healing qualities, but you should really be careful.  If you wouldn't put it on an open wound, don't put it on your pee hole.  Trust me, that stuff burns.  Anything with lidocaine in it is worrisome for me.  If you aren't having any pain, you don't need lidocaine, and it can cause irritation in sensetive areas.  I worked in a pharmacy for about 5 years, but I'm not a substitute for a doctor.  If it starts to hurt or the appearance gets worse, check with someone.  Don't take your health for granted!

It looks like it should really hurt. But it doesnt. I'm uncircumsized so I would be right in saying my head is quite sensitive naturally? But the very tip has almost no feeling at all.

I'll try putting some creams on it. Is sudocream ok? I think I'll start with that

Don't worry too much unless you experience some discomfort.  All else fails, ask an older brother, dad, uncle, or one of your buddies, although I doubt many other 15 year old boys would know either.  A lot of guys I've known have had red urethras, but I'm not sure about the red line.  It's probably a vein... if it looks really bizarre, ask somebody that can look at it!
