I understand you are highly anxious about this.At this point, I can not tell exactly what this 'lesion' is as only a histopath result is definitive in giving a diagnosis for cases of lumps or any lesions in the body. However, let me assure you that if this has been present for 4 years already then this may not likely to be cancer.Your physician will know best as he has noted the character of the lesion when your daughter was 6 months old and comparing it to the lesion noted in her current tests. If there are no changes in the lesions' (please allow me to use the term lesion repeatedly here ) character then there seems to be no cause of unnecessary worrries at this point. I know this is easier said than done. Just continue to openly discuss this with your daughter's physician.Continue to reassure your daughter.
Thank you so much for your comment. I am a nervous wreck at this point, so I was able to get the MRI tomorrow morning instead of May 1st. I spoke with pedatrician today and he seems to think its not cancer and just fatty tissue, but we will find out tomorrow. Thank you again and I will keep you updated.
