Can i have some information about what may happen with my son's cyst on his penis?

I took my son to the doctor about a lump on his penis shaft (I thought it was a smegma pearl)
The doctor identified it as a cyst. It's on the lower half of his shaft (it sits between his testies at the base)
I have a long wait to see a Urologist.
It's about the size of a pea and has grown slightly in the few weeks I've noticed it there.

Is hard and under the skin.

Thanks for any info you can give!

You don't mention your son's age.  As long as you visited with the doctor about this issue and he did not advise anything further to be done at this time, inspect the cyst every few days.  If it grows much larger and/or is painful, return to the doctor.
