Stronger urine flow after sex? Prostate?

I am 35 years old. I've suspected for many years that my urine flow declined slightly in strength. I say suspected because it's nothing drastic. Unless I hold urine in for awhile, then it's hard to go. But that's always been the case. I notice after having sex, the stream is far stronger. Like super strong. If this were an enlarged prostate, would that happen after urinating? Would sex make me urinate stronger? Or does this just sound like maybe muscles relax after ejaculating? Thanks.

Your basic problem is almost certainly Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) What you describe here would tend to re-enforce that view. Until such time as this is impacting on your quality of life -- like having to get up several times at night to pass water, then there is no need for you to do anything about it at this stage. A PSA blood test however might be a good idea.

So the urine stream getting stronger after ejaculating is common with BPH? Thank you for answering. I have no other symptoms. No discomfort or anything. Just the details mentioned above.

So ejaculating making the urine stream stronger sounds like prostate? I read ejaculating didn't make a difference?
