Testicle disappeared in childhood

When i was a kid i was in a bike accident, i urinated blood for about a day afterwhich i recovered. Following this incident i started having problems with my testicles, first my left testicle swelled up and then it decreased in size. Upon a visit to my doctor; it was found thatthere was no serious problem at that time. But after a few months i started realizing that my left testicle was continuously shrinking until one day it kind of disappeared, i can feel it but its just the size of a pea or a small grape. What problems might i face due to this situation and what measures should i take? Thankyou very much!

Hi

If your remaining testicle is normal then the healthy testicle should produce enough hormones and healthy sperms. Hence there should not be a problem in having sexual intercourse or in having children.

You should consult your doctor to confirm your suspicions and he would be able to guide you further. He can also perform some tests such as ultrasound/testicular biopsy/semen analysis for further diagnosis of your condition.

Take care and do write incase of any other questions.
Regards
