Irritated meatus

I have soreness/irritation on the very tip of my penis which I've had on and off now for the last 5 months.  I was hoping by now that it would have gone away on its own however it improves for a few weeks where I hardly notice it, but then for no apparent reason it starts to hurts again.  I do do quite a bit of exercise (cycling/running) so I imagine this may occasionally aggravate the condition.  I have also noticed after I pee and the sit down, I sometimes dribble a bit more urine.   I have been tested several times recently for a whole host of STDs: chlamidya, ghonerrea, herpes, hiv, hep b via urine testing, and also had a couple of swabs done which were also tested (not 100% sure for what exactly).  So I've been told it can't be STD related.

Does anyone have any suggestion about what it may be and what steps to take to resolve it.  Symptoms are:  occassionally pain on tip of penis (meatus) eg. when it rubs against underwear, occasional dribbling after urination.  No other symptoms like pain during urination or discharge etc.

Thanks in advance,

Hi and welcome. Could be male yeast infection which is  canidice fungus. Vervy possible and common from those that workout as your bodies PH changes and allows normal flora to grow out of control. The dribbling while urinating sitting, youve most likely pinched the urethra off not allowing for all the urine to exit, much like when you  pinch a garden hose when its turned on. Try some over the counter yeast cream like monitat

Wear athletic type underwear like Armourall when you work out.  Make sure you wash all your underwear in warm to hot water with baking soda to kill any yeast.
