Testicular vein with painiand in abdomen HELP

Posting for my 25 YO son.  150 lbs 5'10"  He has had testicular pain all week and eventually developed a large red vein bulging out of one testicles. He went to the ER and had a series of tests including an ultra sound and other urological tests....all came out negative. They gave him percacets for the pain. Now the pain is shifting to the other side and is in the lower abdomen and in the upper leg. His urine stream became slower too. Can it be kidney stones at such a young age?

He has nothing. He said it happens. There is nothing wrong with him. He just has to take anti inflammatory meds.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This can be due to varicose veins or Mondor’s disease. It is superficial thrombophlebitis of the penis. This is an inflammatory reaction to a clot within the vein. This subsequently causes blockages and dilation of the vein. It is typically painless, but can be painful. In studies, patients were noted to have thrombophlebitis after a prolonged sexual act with or without intercourse. It was described as cord-like thickening of the superficial penile veins.

Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound or color doppler. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
