Pain & Blood after Sounding

Hey,

When I was in the bath today I decided to try out sounding, so I stuck a standard cotton swab all the way down my urethra. after taking it out I noticed that the swab was entirely red with blood and my penis started hurting like hell (the pain calmed down after a while), so I got pretty nervous. When I try urinating the pain is unbearable and there's drops of blood mixed in with the urine so I restrained myself from doing so today. I'm hoping that the pain is at least bearable tomorrow. What should I do to help my penis heal or at least ease the pain so I can urinate without screaming if it's still as painful as it was today?

Thanks in advance

Pain and bleeding are expected results of inserted objects into the urethra that are too large, or too rough.  If the pain or bleeding become severe, a visit to the emergency department is warranted.

Many people have kinks and fetishes, but it is worth considering whether you should act out on this urges when risk of permanent urethral damage is a possibility.  You only get one penis, so taking care not to destroy it is in your best interest.
The pain is getting better but still is there, blood is still in the urine but not every time.
Is it healing,  am I okay?
How long has it been since you've done this? I'd really urge you to get checked out. Don't be embarrassed - you are not nearly the first guy they'll see that has.
