Hello,
The presence of blood in urine is called hematuria and presence of proteins is called protienuria. When both blood and protein are present it often indicates an inflammatory state that is causing the kidneys to have problems. Possibilities include IgA nephropathy, post-strep glomerulonephritis, Alport's syndrome, and many other glomerulonephritic condtions.
When blood and protein are persistently in the urine it is important to be evaluated by a kidney specialist (a nephrologist).
Since you are having an asymptomatic blood and protein in urine,so a detailed investigations for the renal profile has to be done.I would suggest a nephrologist’s evaluation for the same.
Hope it helps.Take care and regards.
Hi I am a 40 year old female I was just detected traces of protein in the urine would this cause me to have a side effect to my private part and have an itch? Are there any other side effects to this?
