dry flaky skin

So, I a notice scratches on my penis, then i looked closer and it wasn't scratches but clumped up dry skin. now i am worried, i always had dry skin down there but not this bad

what can be the root of this problem

This does not sound serious. Twice a day apply a moisturizing lotion/hand cream (without scent, as this may be painful otherwise). When the dryness is no longer a problem use the lotion less frequently, say once per month.

Hi,

For the past 6 month's or so I've been suffering from flaky skin on my scrotum and the base of my penis which seems to go away and come back again.

At the same time, the area between my scrotum and my legs (both sides) have a rash which can be quite painful at times - there is also a foul smell and a white secretion quite a bit of the time ... any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated.
