If cranberry pills (much more concentrated than just juice) doesn't turn it around pretty quickly I go ahead and go to the doctor for an antibiotic. I don't like antibiotics, but hopefully a mild one like Keflex will be enough. Once you are done taking the antihistamine, that's when you can take a probiotic.
You still have a UTI. Try taking 2 plain alka selzers. Also try boiling some water, remove from heat and add 3-4 cloves of minced fresh garlic and let it steep. Then drink up. Try it for a couple of days. Garlic is a natural antibiotic it'd be wise to take a probiotic too because antibiotics kill off good and bad bacteria and you need to replace the good.
