Hi, Thank you for your response my results of ultrasound read like this Right kidney measures 99 x 40 x 53 mm and there is a small extrarenal pelvis. There is no mass, hydronephosis or stone. The Left kidney measures 114 x 53 x 54 mm echogenic focus representing a stone in the mid aspect. There is also small to moderate residual in the bladder on the post void film. Bladder wall thickness was 3.3 mm. I am really scared I can't tolerate pain...
Hi,
How are you? Kidney stones measuring less than 4 to 5 millimeters in size almost always ( around 90 %) pass on their own while stones larger than 6 millimeters can not pass on their own most of the time. The size, configuration, and location affect the spontaneous passage of these stones. You may benefit from drinking plenty of water, proper diet and regular follow-up with your doctor. Take care and best regards.
