Hi,
This does not sound like an urgent case. In the absence of other associated symptoms like pain, redness or swelling, this does not sound like something you have to be deeply worried of. Other structures in the penile shaft that are otherwise normal may present as a bump or lump in the areas.Examples are sweat glands and blood vessels.
Refrain from unnecessarily manipulating the area. Continue to observe the lump.If it changes in character ( rapidly swells, becomes nodular)or if pain ,redness and swelling are noted then it is best to consult with a physician.
there is only one single lesion. it is solid, so im not sure if it contains any fluid. there is no pain, tenderness, or anything associated with it. it feels just like any other part of my body.
thanks for all your help.
Hi,
Are these multiple lesions?
Is this painful or tender?
Does it contain any fluid? Is there any scaling or plaque like appearance?
You have mentioned that you have been previously assessed for STD 's and the results came back negative. A tiny skin colored lesion may be a skin tag, a wart, a sebaceous gland or sweat gland.Normal structures within the penile shaft may present as asymptomatic lumps and bumps.
Given that there are no associated erectile problems or any change in urinary symptoms, this does not sound urgent. However, a consultation with your primary physician for a baseline assessment may be necessary.
thanks for your reply. I am 21 years old, i have no pain during urination, nor do I have problems with erection or ejaculation. I do not have any other lesions in the area. this "bump" is the same color as my skin, it is about 1mm-2mm in diameter. everything seems to be normal with the exception of this bump. do you know what it might be? or is it necessary to visit the doctor in person?
Hi,
How old are you?
Are there any other associated symptoms like pain in urination or problems with erection or ejaculation?
An unpainful bump may not suggest an infection. An infectious process may involve redness, pain, and swelling. In your case, these are absent. One differential will be Peyronie's disease. This is just a differential. I suggest that you have this assessed by a urologist. Are there any other lesions in the area aside from the bump?
