pain in testicles and urethra

So, I've just scheduled an appointment with the urologist, but I'm curious what a specialist might say based on my symptoms.

I feel lots of pain and tenderness after I squat heavy in my left testicle. Pain usually goes up to the lower abdomen, but no further. Doesn't always happen when I squat, but almost identical symptoms appear when I've taken some time off from yoga and really get into my stretches. Pain in the testicles and slight burning when I pee as well as a constant urge to pee.

Pee doesn't smell. No discharge. No lesions or bumps or anything along those lines.

Occasionally burns when I pee while drinking, typically when I mix liquor and beer. This often the most painful occasion.

I was tested about a year ago, including blood tests, with no STDs. I haven't been tested since that time, but I've had a girlfriend for about 6 months now and she's reported no pain, discharge, or odd smells from her vagina. And the girls I had sex with prior to her have never contacted me about anything, and we did have unprotected sex (which I realize doesn't really say much because they were probably too scared to reach out if they even had anything).

Now, here's the kicker, I've had symptoms like this for years. I had almost identical symptoms in college (about 6 years ago), and the tests came back clear, and I was having a lot more (unprotected) sex at that time.

Sometimes it hurts to pee when I've been drinking lots of coffee.

It's just really strange and I'm not sure what it is. In today's case, the pain started today around 11am, a hour or so after I finished at the gym, and it's still a dull pain, I still have an urge to pee, and it still burns a little when I pee, and it's almost 8pm.

There are days I don't feel any pain anywhere and it's like there's nothing wrong.

So, as you can see, this is why I'm headed (no pun intended ;)) to the urologist because it just doesn't make any sense.

Any one else have symptoms similar to that or any doctors have a hunch as to what it might be?

Your input is appreciated!
