possible testicle torsion

Ok I am very worried about what is going on with my left testicle. This morning I woke up and it felt tender to touch but didn't really hurt unless i was touching it but there was definently pain when i touched it. After a little while i masterbated and when i ejaculated the testicle that had felt like it was clicking or spazeming or something weird. Then there after it felt alot better. Maybe a hour or so later it started to feel a little weird again. I was wondering if its a torsion and if i need to go to a hospital or what to do so i don't lose the testicle. Now I do have a tendencey to kind of freak out about these sort of things but i really just wanna make sure I don't lose the testicle. The pain at no point has been severe which is what i though happend with a torsion but I really don't know. Please help

My son had a suspected testicular torsion (he had exploratory surgery and it turned out to be a twisted "Hydatid of Morgagni" (sp?) which was removed, and the testicle was anchored with a stitch), and yes, the pain tends to be sudden and severe. However, you should never leave it to chance, go get checked out a.s.a.p. The worst that can happen is you find out what it is and it gets treated. Good luck!
