procedure that surgically removes the bladder

How long is the incision?  left to right or up and down?
2.   Are the ureters joined into a single tube?
3.   Is this tube connected to the urethra?
4.   Then does urine flow to a leg bag through a penile catheter?
5.   Or does the tube come out through the abdomen directly from the ureters?
6.   If so, what is the collection bag like?  How is it held on? Is the capacity large enough to collect urine through the night until the morning?  Does it show a bulge through the clothing?  Can it be worn while bathing/showering?
7.   If a male is still sexually active, will this procedure still allow for erections and orgasims?
8.   I have heard of a procedure that uses a section of the colon to construct a bladder.
9.   Is this a preferred method?
10.   Since there is no muscle tissue in this ?new? bladder to squeeze out the urine through the penis, is a tube through the abdomen still used?
11.   Since the urine collection is inside the body in this latter procedure, is some sort of valving operation used to void the urine instead of using an exterior collection bag?
12.   Do the nerve endings that were severed from the bladder cause any long term problems?

I had mione removed a few years ago. the incision is very long ie from the navel down to the pubic bone. there is no tube.  I have an ileal conduit which isw hat is usally made after a cystectomy (bladder removal). A small piece of bowel is used as a conduit for the urine. the ureters are attaached to the piece of bowel. a hole is made in the abdomen and the section of bowel ie end of it, is pulled through the hole to form a stoma.  an bag is then placed over this and the urine drains into it.  If you have ever heard of a colostomy, it is the same principle.
