renal cyst

I have been to 5 doctors in the last two months, I was recently seeing a surgeon and he transferred me to a urologist.  The problem I am having is that I am in intense pain and it is like they do not even care.  I have a 20cm cyst in my stomach that is compressing all my organs and making a disk bulg in my back, they keep giving me pain pills but it really aint helping, has anyone else ever had one this big.

The mass does not appear to originate from the liver or bilary system.  the mass does come in close approximation to the lower pole aspect of the right kidney with the suggestion of a claw sign along the lateral aspect of the kidney in this region suggesting the changes of a large renal cyst.  There is displacement of bowel and inferior vena cava from the mass.

He says he wants to drain it because it is to large to remove and might cause more problems to do it that way.  We will monitor it and if it comes back he wants to inject somthing in it to make it collapse on itself.  I am going in tommrow and he are going to go in through my back and remove fluid  while i am getting cat scanned.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This is 20 cm ( not mm ?) cyst is  a renal cyst?  You have also noted that you are experiencing pain already. The size of the cyst and the fact that you are symptomatic, that is you are in pain already should suggest that you need surgical management for this.

What did your surgeon advise you?
