unsolved urethral lesion

i have had a bump inisde the tip of my urethra for about 9 months now, as well as skin irritation around the head of the penis. it happened 6-8 weeks after a very very risky sexual encounter. all blood work for std's has been negative, multiple times. it was initially diagnosed as lichen planus by dermatologists, but none of the topical treatments have worked (desonide, mycolog and topicort). an infectious disease doctor thought hpv but a urologist and dermatologist said definitely not. the urethral bump is obstructing urine flow somehwat, and is psychologically draining. a dermatological surgeon did not want to biopsy it because he thought it could urinary issues, and suggested if i want a biopsy go to a urologist. my questions are this: 1) what other explanations are there for a urethral bump?  2) should i have a biopsy done on that area? will it cause the skin on the urethra to not close correctly in the future? doctors are recommending against a biopsy, but at the same time suggest if i psychologically cant get past it, i have to do it..im looking for another possible diagnosis before i go against advice of doctors. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Hi Jon,

I also have this problem and all my STD test have come back negative as well as lupus/HIV.  The only evidence they have that I am sick besides the constant drainage is large amount of anti-bodies in my blood.  I also have one or two lesions on my feet and a dermatologist did a biopsy of the foot lesions the other day instead, because of the risks associated with performing a biopsy on the urethra.  I am going to see a urologist tomorrow and I would like to know what you found out? Let me know because everyone is worried including myself since we do not know what we are dealing with.
