varicocele surgery and kidney stone

Is there any connection in Varicocele surgery and kidney stone? My son at the age of 15 had the varicocele surgery. He is now 18 and has kidney stone. He is very active, lactose intolerant drinks lots of water. Is it normal for one so young to have kidney stones?

Hi,
How are you? There is no relation between varicocele and renal stones. Presence of renal stones at a younger age should warrant a complete work up for any metabolic disorders or dietary abnormalities which could promote the formation of stones in the urinary tract.
Consult a urologist for further assistance.
Best.

Is there any relation betweeen groin pain and varicocelectomy?

I have undergone  varicocelectomy  ( on the left side ) a few years back and once in a while end up the left groin being heavy and appears as if it is pulled up.

Just want to find out if the groin pain is due to exercise related muscle pull or is there a relation to the varicocelectomy procedure done before?
