Tear to the labia minora

A week ago, I really hurt my labia minora on a piece of blunt metal. I went to a and e and they assured me I didn't need stitches but a week on and it is still swollen and the cut has started to bleed a bit. I can't walk properly and it's making life a tad difficult.  Any suggestions?
