Great points, Jaquta. I think the first step is really recognizing that you want to make a change. You might consider keeping a food diary for a few days just to bring out into the open some of the choices you might be making that you could change in order to start making a difference. Try eating less and/ or making healthier food choices and exercising more. I know it sounds overly simplistic and the reality is often much different (usually harder or more complex). But if we expend more energy than we take in we usually lose weight.
