Bleeding during sex almost 4 months after cryotherapy?

I had some high risk cells on my cervix, and had cryotherapy some time in may. I was supposed to go back for a follow up.in august but I haven't. I just forgot to be honest, and I did a lot of travelling that month.

Now I've been bleeding every time my husband and i have sex. There's no pain, no lubrication problems, just blood.

I have an appointment tomorrow, but I'm so stressed because we've only had one child so far, we want 3 and I don't know if this is something that will affect my fertility.

Hi,
I think you've made a smart decision by following up with an appointment tomorrow; it will be a huge weight off of your shoulders once you get it done and over with.

Your doctor might have you do a Pap test or biopsy during your exam tomorrow, just to see if there have been any changes in the cervical cells/tissue. Unfortunately, after cryo we often have to go back for Pap's more frequently for a few years afterward so that the doctor's can keep watching out for any abnormal cells that may crop up. I know it can be so stressful to have to go in for the exams, but once you're all finished up at least you'll know exactly what you're dealing with in regard to the bleeding. As far as your fertility goes, the doctor would probably be the only one who could best answer that question. Stay Positive and Strong :)
