my next appointment isn't until late August. My usual gynecologist asked me if I was sexually active and explained what was about to take place step by step. My regular doctor does this as well, so I was surprised she didn't do the same. As for the silver nitrate, I didn't know it was used to remove moles, but it did stop the bleeding.
I was told at my last appointment that if I became sexually active after my appointment I needed to come back with a year, but three years if I am not sexually active. As for my regular doctor, I didn't know she was going to perform a culture, let alone what one was. I just went because of a yeast infection. And what do you mean "make me perfect again"?
I'm not sure why they used liquid nitrate. Two days after isn't long and as long as you weren't bleeding profusely, there was no issue or reason to.... That's a pretty harsh chemical; heck, they use it to get certain types of moles off your body.
I doubt your doctor could lose her job over it. The way society is these days, the patient should tell her doctor if she is over 18 and still a virgin and make it clear before any procedure is done of that nature. You didn't tell her, and she did what most doctors do: assume based on age. Yes, assumption is never good, but as a general rule of thumb, it's very rare someone's still a virgin at age 29, and besides that, many girls are active enough their hymen breaks long before they have or are even ready physically to have sexual intercourse.
Definitely go see your gynecologist. You're long overdue for a pap smear if you've not been to see her in over five years. Sexually active or not, you're supposed to have them every 3 years starting at age 21. And you should probably ask her what to expect because of this.
Oh dear i think this is totally your mistake, before having any kind of treatment you must tell every thing to doctor, she assumed and then did that to you, May be this can cause large trouble for you in future life. then what will you do huh, better is to consult with your gyne and ask her what to do next and how to make you perfect again.
